Full Bio

Wellington, Florida native, Danielle Ball, is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and Bachelor of Art degree in Political Theory. Danielle has served as an ambassador with the EW Foundation since 2017 and stepped into the role of Spokeswoman in 2020. In addition to her work with the EW Foundation, Danielle works as a branding and PR consultant for several South Florida companies and serves as Miss America Local Titleholder. She plans to pursue her Juris Doctorate beginning in the Fall of 2021 and hopes to one day combine her love of communications with her knowledge of the law to serve as a legal analyst on National News Network.

Danielle attributes her achievement of academic excellence through the years to her love of reading and writing and, specifically, the development of these precious skills at an early age. At the age of 10, Danielle began to notice the disparities amongst her peers when it came to access to education and educational resources and, since then, has worked tirelessly to find ways to help bridge the gap. From starting a peer reading mentorship program in her Elementary and Middle schools, to raising money to donate over 10,000 books to children in need in South Florida Communities, to volunteering with the Boys and Girls club as a tutor and mentor for the past 10 years, Danielle has a passion for helping children succeed.

Danielle has competed in the Miss America Scholarship Organization, the largest provider of scholarships to women in the world, for the past 4 years in an effort to gain a more meaningful platform for her philanthropic work and raise funds to further her education. Danielle has earned scholarships as Miss Palm Beach County 2016, Miss South Florida 2017, Miss Manatee River 2018, Miss South Florida 2019, in addition to the Overall Academic Achievement Award in 2019 and the Miracle Maker Award in 2017. She has been able to serve the South Florida communities for the last 4 years and represented them and the EW Foundation each year at the Miss Florida Scholarship Competition in Lakeland, FL. Through her involvement in the program, Danielle developed another philanthropic initiative, A New Attitude Gratitude, teaching children the importance of living a life through the lens of gratitude through her school visits and self-authored children’s workbook. In addition, after losing a close family member to a lifelong battle with addiction, Danielle took on a role as the South Florida Ambassador for Real Talk, a comprehensive, educational program designed for high school and college students that discusses the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.

Danielle is excited to have the opportunity to combine her passion for communications, drive for advocacy work, and love of Loretta’s mission as she serves as the EW Foundation Spokeswoman.
